BROKEN FRAME!!!!!

We went out to Perry ATV trails in kansas last saturday.

it's all trail riding, large rocks and creeks, kinda trecherous IMO.

Well anyways i got high centered on a deep rut and when my freind helped me out he noticed THE motor was moving when i dropped the clutch.

We head back to the trucks to tighten up the bolt and i find this.

I HAPPENED TO HAVE AN EXTRA FRAME LAYING AROUND.

I BOUGHT A PARTS QUAD LAST YEAR FOR SOME ENGINE PARTS.

I'VE BEEN SWITCHING EVERYTHING OVER sorry about the caps.


anyways, i was worried about it possibly not being centered.

and i don't own a welder.

If you're hard on the bike then take the time to gusset the thing now.

add gussets to the frame?

Check the motor mounts to just to be safe I do see the crack but check the mounts.

If you don't weld, have someone who does gusset the sh*t outa that new frame before you use it. Any and every spot that could be trouble, weld more metal in there!

Does anyone make a gusset kit for blasters or do you just make your own?

i would think you'd have to make your own to be honest.


i don't think i'm to hard on it i think it had something to do with my bad wreck earlier this year and i just didn't notice the issue

Where is the most common place on the frame that gets bent? i have seen a few that had hit something hard and bent the frame right behind where the a arms bolt in.

I WOULD think were the front a arm bolt in or just the front nose if you hit somthing
