i agree with ya xjma the ak is a better all around assult rifle but the ar is awesome to shoot you have more options an theyre more accurate in my opinion if you try to change much on an ak they start to act up i put a synthetic stock on mine an couldnt get 3 rounds through it without a jam but as soon as i put the wood back on it worked fine
 
the AK is not a better all around rifle. they only thinks good about the AK, it never jams, always able to fire, and cheap. The gun f*cking sucks for an assualt rifle because they are inaccurate as a mother f*cker. I wish I had an SR instead of my AK47.
 
ak-47 werent built for accuracy they were made to spit alot of hot bullets realy fast if you want something accurate get a hunting rifle if you wanna cover a large area with a bunch of hot sh*t get an assult rifle use the gun for what its made for an youll be alot happier with it
 
I am using the gun for what i bought it for, to fire some rounds, then sell it for way more than I bought it for.
But an assualt rifle should be accurate. you wonder why the americans can kill so many more terrorists, because the m4/m16 are accurate rifles.

and if you can fire a lot of bullets it doesn't matter how accurate it is, if you shoot 3-4 rounds you're bound to hit something you were aiming for, right?

im not bragging about having anything, legal or illegal, im just interested in guns and its a hobbie of mine, if i am offending anyone or if this is gonna cause a big scene i will have it removed! But also the comments of Obama i feel were a little far to be posting on the internet, the secret service will be all over you! lol, but seriously guys, lets try to keep it clean! But i also agree i will burry my guns away before i will just hand them over, if they want to give me book value for them then thats fine, but they'v gotten enough tax money from me and their not getting anything other than that for free!!! just an opinon!

and the shot 20 rounds and not hit anything was a general comment.
like i am deadly with out 12ga from a good 30yd, but when i shot this ak from 15, i couldn't hit the tree.
 
I was not referring to you Darrell, I was referring to the mentioning of Incendiary rounds, and AP rounds..

If people choose to let the world know what they have in their gun cabinets then go for it... I prefer to keep my cabinet contents known only to me, my family, and that poor sap who decides he wants to break in my house and feel the pain when I show him what bullets I have .......business end 1st.

I don't want to bash anyones freedom to share this information, and if my personal belief that its not a good idea offended anyone then I apologize. I just though some people should re-think their motive for disclosing information like that.

ya beat me to it ya sly dog ;-0 I own an ak-47 semi auto it IS legal i have all paper work for it backround check etc .. and I own a ruger gp100 6 inch barel .357 magnum/.38 special ( yes it can fire both) i can one hand that s.o.b. i love both guns.. the ak was like $300 and the gp $536 with 2 speed loaders! brand new (all paper work etc etc) and the only thing obama is really doin towards guns is banning it from home self defense.. aka. pick up the crowbar, bat, sword, knife, tazer, paintball gun, instead to hurt said assailant..

you might want to spend a lil more time behind you ak then or the sights are off mine hits right where i point it every time an can still let off 40 rounds in only a few seconds but i spend quite a bit of time getting to know all my guns we spend days at the farm shooting

just be happy you can own guns i dont think in mexico you can have any kind of gun unless your police or military and im greatfull everyday for people like valhalla that dedicate a large part of their lives to help defend our countries freedoms such as these thanks to all the armed forces

you are not allowed to have any machine guns in the states, you can buy pre ban guns and turn them into machine guns but you need paper work for that. Mrbrocco, you can only legally own semi auto AK's.
and foolish, the sight on that ak is off big time, i have this laser thingy that you put in the barrel to line the sites up, and yea, i can't get my sights to line up at all, f*ck it, time for either a red dot and scope.
 
i can tell you from experience a scope on an ak dosent work well the first time you let it rip the scope will be off target unless you get the scope mount that sticks to the side of the reciever an i think you have to have a gunsmith put those on i havent tried the red dot yet the one i want is around 500 an if i pay that much for a sight its going on the ar
