DC Conversion, here we come!

i like this idea...put in a pigtail for 12v and gut a 12v sawzall battery and add in an extention cord

+1 get 2 and mount them to the front bumper and put a switch on the bars

or a small winch behind the front bumper

But eventually those batteries will need recharging. That's where the DC conversion regulator/rectifier comes in.... While the engine is running it's producing power that power is then rectified to ~14VDC and used to charge back the battery.

It hasn't even moved yet. I ordered the regulator/rectifier and it's been sitting on the refrigerator since it came in. I was originally planning on doing the DC conversion when I was doing the LT zero bumpsteer a-arms but that's been pushed back a ways too by paying a-arm orders...
