compression is good its got a new top end and it has spark, i havent checked the reeds but thats all i did! i only poured gas in the intake like a little shot and then it ran for like 5 minutes idling and it died after i let go of the gas

mine ran with 35psi of compression but wouldn't stay on. then i took off the exhayust and i could see the piston rings cracked, can you take off the exhaust and look for anything ovious?

how do you know if the rings are on backwards? the kit that mine came with where the same on both sides,i couldnt even tell the difference :-/

im a new blaster owner too, but you should disconnect the hose from the petcock to the carb and see if it's getting gas? have you tried starting fluid?
