Namura pistons are absolutely fine. Pistons do not normally fail on their own or from manufacturing defects.

The biggest problem you will run into with a +6mm crank is the port timing like sicivic said,the transfer ports in particular.you can run the crank without a spacer but the timing is still very high,depending on how thick the base gasket you use the top ring maybe even protrude from the bore...

Its very highly unlikely you will be able to repair that,my advice unless you have the right equpiment and can do the job yourself,scrap the cylinder and buy a new one save yourself a lot of headaches
