thoughts on the rekluse auto clutch

what do you guys think about this clutch kit? seems pretty cool to have a fully auto clutch on a bigger bike but takes a lot of the skill of working the clutch out of riding.... just my opinion. i would consider getting one if i had one of the few bikes they make them for ahah

I see no point in it really. In my view, if you can't work a clutch properly, then you don't really belong on that machine to begin with. That's just my opinion on it though.

yeah i was flipping through an old edition of dirt rider and they were doing internet bikes were people build them on forums and all of them had rekluse auto clutches on them. it does seem like it takes alot out of riding though

We used one on our 450 for a while, it was pretty neat and fun to use. If there used on a built motor in moto cross it takes a lot of adjusting to keep it correct.

how do they work? like an auto clutch? just shift without the clutch?

That's it. It has 2 different springs that determine if you want trail or race engagements.

bringing up this old thread i found instead of starting another one. has anyone here used the Rekluse clutch? it has crossed my mind a few times. I can see it having some benefits like not stalling the engine. i do not think one can be put on a Blaster but I do have a Z400 that there is a kit for.

they work amazing!!!!! worth the money if your a hardcore single track rider

My female cousin who rides a kx 250f in motocross had this on her bike. Was really cool because. She is only 5'5 and when she dumped her bike she did not have to start it again.
