This is how the bike looks currently. I really haven't done much but order a few panels and a bunch of electronics. a lot is new on and off it already (previous owner gave up I guess) so I have to finish it. Where does the key mount to? lol Thanks for looking!

the plan is to put it 100% together and get it running, take it all apart and paint everything, reassemble and WIN! How accurate are the Haynes manuals for these?

Updating my post with some new pics.

nice man, glad you came back and updated your thread. most ppl just disappear leaving us hanging.

I got it put together and running by fall 2010 and did a few runs with it. got too cold in the winter and then was going to use it in the spring of 2011 and my friend was riding it up a mountain to his house and apparently the mix was off. he was hammerin the piss out of the throttle and didn't let off and the hole eated through the piston. anywho...it sat for a bit as I searched a new piston and a machine shop to clean up the cylinder. put it back together, broke the engine in and then drove it for 100 feet. BAM the flywheel shattered and then it sat some more. Finally put a new flywheel on and took the old bastard out and as you can see with my newest vid it runs like a son-of-a-biotch.
