got rebuild done had drain crankcase to adjust clutch and little cylinder about a 1/2 in long and 1/4 wide fell out of drain hole thought it was set pin got it back together when u go to take off it stops and stalls
 
no but it looks like alittle cylinder dont if its a set pin from me putting the cases back together or if its from tranny bc some thing wrong run great try to go about sends u over bars
 
sounds likie one of the pins from the end of the shift forks ????
isnt there some pieces on them similar to what he is describing ????
is it solid or hollow
 
Dude I just pulled out those spare tranny parts I have and it is most definately out of one of the shift forks. Its the pin that runs in the shift drum to select the gears. Sucks but you will have to split that bottom end again and I will get those tranny parts over to you. Not sure how that would have come out but I would pull out ALL of your tranny gears and put these other ones in there.
