Well... I finally got around to taking off my green plastics and putting on my stock black ones. Looks way better but she needs a bubble bath . Can't wait until it's warm enough to wash her.

great looking bike i wish had those exact same plastics on my bike. Were the old green ones painted cuz if so it looks like they held up well.

Yes, I did paint them myself, I sanded the old crap off some whites we had and painted them green, but I didn't feel like doing the best job i could so they wore a little and stained easy... I used ceramic paint

I think you should paint them a cool color. I Ike it when they stand out.

Wifesblaster, what plastic do you have on the orange one, and what kind of paint did you use? is it clear coated?

It's a maier race front. Not sure what kind of hood it is. The one on te black one is a 450r hood. We used krylon fusion with 8 coats of clear. I'm impressed with how good it held up. The black part of the plastics is paint too. They used to be white. A LOT of prep work. You'll thank yourself in the end.

I love the orange one, My green ones were white also, i should have done better, i didn't do any clear coat like an idiot, I'm going to look into a 450 hood, it's cool

I have to get a decal kit for the black one. Looks a little to plain right now. I love the back fender though.

Is there any way to put a headlight in it? Either stock or the 450r?

I fabbed up a fog light that mounts to the bars for now. Eventually I will try to fill the holes with fog lights. Or I might mount them under the front fender.
