Finally got my blaster back together and just rode it around the backyard a bit. I think it feels kinda weird though. It feels like the rpms go up when I push the throttle but its not going fast? Are blasters like that? I only rode it a few hours before I tore it apart so don't know exactly how a blaster feels and maybe its just like that. You can see how fast I'm going in the video and how much I'm revving it? It might just be my gearing? My jetting was spot on before I rebuilt the motor could I need to change it now? The motor is exactly he same as far as parts except they're new. Is it OK to plug chop even though I've only done 3 heat cycles and the riding you see in the video? Or should I wait a little longer to plug chop? One of the vids the idle was high but I turned it down after that. I don't know why the links are like that but click on the top of them like the first two lines and they work.

Okay, 1st of what did you do to it does it need running in...?

try letting it warm up properly and it will pull better and be alot better for the engine..also sounded to me asif you need the idle turning down abit..

and no usually when you push the throttle they rev and.. and usually the front end also goes high :p and they start to shift like hell

Bore, hone, rings, piston, gaskets. It was warmed up and It was idling at a good rpm while I was setting the camera up I thought. If I turned it any lower I think it would have shut off. The front wheels will come up but it seems that the throttle response isn't there and the rpms will keep climbing and will gain speed but maybe that's just how its supposed to feel. Anybody else have opinions and will it be okay to do a plug chop this weekend because ill be somewhere where I can go out on the road. I guess maybe what I'm trying to say is the gears feel short like after I get into 2nd it feels like I need to go to 3rd right away. Is that just my gearing?

Warm it right up so you cant touch the engine anymore, then adjust your idle, it shouldnt be much over dieing really, just enough to keep it ticking over
