DIY air scoops by Mert

I made these about a year ago and thought I'd put them on here.
Member Climb Any Hill on everything2stroke took pics and gave me dimensions to make these from, big ups to him, great guy.

from those I made a prototype out of cardboard and tested it out, it fit perfect so I traced it onto some aluminum diamond plate and cut it out with a jig saw and smoothed it out with a sanding pad on a grinder and a file. Then I clamped it in a vice between 2 2X4s and used a 2X6 to bend it.

there is one bend I didnt get a pic of, on the top the square section marked off gets bent on the dotted line. Also I didnt show the bottom mount, but it's simple to make, just a little twist near the shock to clear it.
