well i went to replace my crank seal and after a few frustrating hours i got the old one out... only to find some pretty bad scratches. i really need to know if these are too deep to just put a new seal in or if its not worth fixing so i can just sell it. or if their is something i can do to fix it. on top of that the new crank seal i put in ended up breaking so now im going crazy. + i dont even know if this is the real problem! Any help would be appreciated.

Video link below of close up of the scratches.

Once again ...
"I say Hmmmmmm"

How the hell did you manage that?
Was that from you removing the seal?
Or...was that from a previous owner?
If that was from you, what tools were you using?
My guess is a SCREWDRIVER and a perhaps a PUNCH...correct?
If it was you,why didn't you seak help BEFORE the damage was done?

Four minutes in,he tells you how to remove them...
This is being done on a Kawasaki 500CC triple...
