carb issues

OK,

i'm in a state of confusion. i'm not good with the carbs.

i have a 30 over bored out boysen power reeds, dg pipe and silencer.

and a stock air box wwith no lid.


where do i start about getting it tuned right, jet kits etc.????


i'm affraid on what jet to start with etc.


it runs great but it seems restricted. it tops out really quick.


any thingughts please

do a plug chop to determine if your running rich or lean.

yup,. plug chop or just start putting different jets in untill you find one that makes your quad run well!

your jetting will be largely affected by your altitude. the higher up you go, the smaller jets you need.
the best way to determine your jetting is to check your spark plug.
do the test recommended above.
