95 RM good deal?

Hi guys I was wondering if this rm would be a solid buy at $450-500 if all i need is a $60-85 piston kit what is the general resale for them arround $800-1000??
should i check it out? Also he may let me take the jug off if i bring my tools should i at least take a trip to look at it.

I just put a new piston and rings in it and my son didn't break it in properly and it tied up again so im not messing with it again.

There may be some underlying problems, like why did it blow up in the first place.

There is no mention about what the bore is like.

Be very wary, the tied up again statement ring warning bells to me.
