banshee hide-a-key

surely with your skillz :) this is a 1/2 lunch project
but here's a link anyway

you could always shave the ket swith body enough to fit the bars and silicone tje housing back up.

I was thinking about trying a heat gun on the key switch body to see if the heat will soften up the body to reshape it. I dont think there is enough room inside the switch body to do anything like this.

I don't think that hole is meant for a key. I thought the 4 holes are meant to bolt a kill switch onto it.

most likely was, or a toggle for the headlight

bars look sweet !

looks like you're cheating that brake master for those short lines ?
i know there's more room on them bars for it :)
i also cheated the banjo fittings downward as i see you did, and had to reroute my +2 lines down near the caliper to give me more slack up top.
you running stock length yet ?

I think my ODI Lock on grips take up more room on the bars! Look at my pic and you can see that the adjuster bolt for the brake master lever is as close to the throttle box as i can get it.
Cheated the banjo fittings downward helps a lot.;)
The brake lines came with my a arms, and they are 48" long.
I dont have the throttle cable yet, and the clutch cable is aftermarket and probably stock length, the parking brake cable is off a banshee or warrior, dont remember.

ahhh, i see.
i run a yfz master and the lever does not have an adjustment screw ?

what does the screw do anyway ?

i checked ebay, and now about 1/2 the banshee levers listed do not run an adjustment screw:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...lever&_nkw=banshee front brake lever&_sacat=0

neither does this master listed as a banshee:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-YAMAHA-B...Parts_Accessories&hash=item27df0862ba&vxp=mtr
(i think thats a yfz master, it has the brake light switch)

just like the yfz i have, no screw needed ?

yes, i saw about 1/2 of them had a screw and 1/2 were the new style with no screw.

that nice silver yfz with the brake light switch i posted above would look good on your new bars :) and match your throttle box
