im in the process of restoring my blaster. heres what i got so far. do u think its still runnign a little lean? it takes a little to get back to idle and revs higher than normal. i sprayed the carb and checked for airleaks. tell me what u think? should i go up a couple jets?

it sounds good.. did you try putting the air box lid back on that should help some..

I think it sounds fine. Its normal for an engine to rev when its warming up esp a 2stroke. If it still runs a bit lean bump up a jet size or two.

yeah i let the quad warm up. shut if off, then got the camera and started it so it runs like that normally. im going to maybe try a 280 jet and see if it makes any difference from the 270 and ill go from there i guess.

A jet only cost maybe 5 or 6 dollars at the most.

yeah really. no offense but i wouldnt ship someone a jet. i get mine for 3.25
