That could have been a temp issue while the cache was being worked out after the initial move. Please try again in the original browser and see if you still run into this issue. If so, just post the problem in the Feedback to see if others are experiencing the same thing.
checking to see if i have any problems with lock ups while posting...... i did not. on IE9 all seems good so far
alot of features and buttons on here do not need clicked on, just hover your mouse over them for drop boxes to open with all the options of that feature (inbox, alerts are just a few) to have a popup with options of anyones profile, single left click for the options box, such as starting a conversation (previously PM) double clicking will take you to their profile page hover your mouse over the "forums and members" buttons above, then hover over the little arrow to the right for the drop box, no clicking needed
When you look at Current Visitors you can see the Members Online, Guests Online, and also the Robots Online. WHAT IS UP WITH ROBOTS???? Are they spying on me too? lol We have 102 robots spying on us right now! lol joke What is the robots?
Is there a way to set 40 posts per page again? Also, whats this crap about my signature being 6 lines too long? Same one i used on old forum, i even removed some stuff
For performance and other good reasons, the number of posts per thread is now set globally. Since most users had the number of posts per page set to 10 and very few people had it over 30, 20 was a good average number to keep everyone on the same page. The signature area is limited to 4 lines for regular users and 6 lines for supporting members. Note that you can also include an image. This limitation is meant to keep the threads easy to read without having members sifting though repeating signatures that are usually 10 times the size of the actual post. BTW, we will be developing something in the future that will allow you to keep a personal page with pictures, stats, descriptions and configurations where you will just be able to provide a link to it instead of listing everything in your signature.
Ok, I just looked at my Emalis and i got about 40 emails from the blasterforum. How do i stop this? THANKS! lol
same as you did originally on the old forum, by defualt we are set up to receive emails for everything that happens on here. hover your cursor over your name at the top right of the page, check all the different settings in there and choose how you want the forum to behave, one of them has email/notification preferences
go into "preferences" under your name at the top also "alert preferences" to change what gives you an alert on the site
Yep, as Awk and Herpderplol said, it should be in the settings. Go to your profile, and to Preferences. Uncheck the "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply..." box, and the "and receive email notifications of replies" box. That should be all you need to do for future notifications. However, if you are already watching a bunch of threads, you will need to manually click on "Watched Forums" and/or "Watched Threads" and unwatch the ones you don't need to get reminders.
I like the new forum two thumbs up!! My only thing is when you are messaging someone, I have to scroll all the way down to read the new message. Any way I can change that in my settings or something?
