honda 250ex vs blaster

I have a mainly standard 03 blaster with k&n air filter my m8 has a standard honda 250 4 stroke he says it will do 80mph which i dont belive i no the blaster should do 55-60 is he lien and could the blaster smoke him

I have bought, a basically stock 01 Blaster and an 04 TRX250EX. I don't think a 250ex will hit 50mph and the Blaster will smoke the EX anywhere top or bottom end. The 250ex was bought for my 10 year old as his first full sized quad for the simple reason that I thought the Blaster would be too much for him.

Bear in mind though, it is not always the bike that wins, the rider comes into the equasion.

My blaster is stock standered and i got it on the dirt road 102.4km/h according to my GPS

Hands Down the Blaster will smoke. my 11 year old friend has one and it is pretty slow.

There was a 250x that was pre 300ex yrs ,and if thats what it is and he is a better driver he might wax you.
