ok so i just got my blaster going again a few days ago after i completly tore it down and built it from the ground up. it is running amazing and has plenty of power but it wont idle. it only stays running if i feather the throttle. also when im downshifting from any gear when i clutch it i have to keep feathering it or it will die. i have adjusted the idle skrew and it has no affect. any ideas?

Sounds like either a clogged pilot jet or a small air leak. Check the pilot jet first to be sure its clean and free of blockage.

There is also a 'starter jet' in the float bowl...be sure it is clean, too. It is hidden at the bottom of the hole on that side passage in the float bowl. Unscrew it with a small screwdriver and clean it out. They clog often.

Air leak could come from a loose carb cap, blown or leaky gasket around the reed cage, loose carb boot clamp, or from numerous other places...
