So my friend is going out of town for a few months and eventually will be moving away for his job and he's giving me his chickens. They're both female and they lay a lot of eggs. Anyone else here have chickens? Do I give them feed from the store or can I give them the scraps after dinner and what not? I plan to have them caged in because I don't want them sh*tting everywhere and tearing up the lawn. Thanks!
