Floppy kickstarter

My kickstarter works fine but doesn't stay where it's supposed to while I'm riding. It's too loose and sometimes moves out and has hurt me while jumping . Other then a bungie chord , is there a way to tighten it up ? Stupid question, i know , but it's very annoying.

there is a spring and ball inside the kicker when you remove the big #3 phillips screw, the kicker comes appart and you can replace the spring. I actually just stretched the spring with a couple of pliars and it worked great for me. awk can get the spring and ball, or at least he has for me before

Yup, bought that set from Awk. My spring was actually still inside the kicker assembly, all I needed was the ball. I just bought that from Awk and replaced it all, works awesome now

i just stretched the spring with pliers and a flat screwdriver and it worked fine for me.

I tried that on mine and it didn't work long.
