After the last time I rode I noticed there was a considerable amount of oil on my frame below my shifter. After taking off the flywheel cover and counter tooth sprocket I found that my counter shaft seal had backed out. Looks like the sprocket kept it from coming out any further than it it did. I pushed back in with just finger pressure. Has anyone else had that issue? I have owned several Blasters and have not seen this happen before. Is there anything I should be looking for when I install a new one? Thanks for the help!

Is the vent for the tranny clear, if its not it could be building pressure an pushing the seal out

This ^^^. Had a mud dauber plug mine and it blew the seal out. I just cleaned it up a put some 3bond on it and tapped it back in. If you use new seal put one wrap of masking tape on shaft to protect seal on installation.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Sounds like that might be the problem since I have been riding the for almost a year with no trouble.
