My blaster quit running, so after a compression and sparks checked out, I pulled the carb and Reed cage to find a broaken Reed. My problem is that I couldn't find the broaken off piece. I stuck my finger in the in take as far as I could. Is there anyway I could have gotten into the cyl? Do I need to pull the head and see?

ok heres what i think on your problem but lets see if others agree with me

the reads are made from a light fiber that is designed to be chewedup by the piston incase one gets into the cylinder.it should eventually get blown out the exhaust.

when putting new reads on the cage make sure you use lockthread (blue) on the screws that go into the cage.

i dont think this would even cause damage to the cylinder or rings in no way,but lets see what other people think on my answer i could be wrong.

me myself i would not pull the head
