blaster operating temp

what should the temp be for a blaster it seems to be over heating i have a trail tech thats how im reading my temp juszt looking for a ball park number

he must be talking EGT temps, i like to ride mine and then check it with a infrared therm. its usually in the mid 200's on the head and high 200's on the cylinder and the pipe usually reads around 400

Yup, I think trail Tech reads head temp with a ring under the plug.

i absolutely agree, im just saying for the average joe playing with a infrared is kinda interesting.

it does measure the temp with a sensor under the plug it was runnin g about 330-340 average with a 358 high temp is that to hot

between 180 and 220. thats for just about every engine. the exhaust temp should be around 300-400. depending on what youre doin.
