04 blaster stays idling high.

Alright, i have a 04 blaster w/ a 1/2 reed spacer, fmf pipe w/ power core silencer, boysen dual stage reeds, Alum. air box w/ k& n filter, Keihin 28 mm jetted carb, after market degree key, alum. boost bottle, ported and polished head, and wiseco forged piston. The problem i am having is that when you run it flat out threw all the gears and you come to a stop without gearing down the motor stays reved up and wont come down till i set the idle back down. and then when i set it down it shuts off then wont start. ??? Im lost

could be an air leak i believe spray carb cleanear all around the engine while idling if it starts to rev in a certain spot your spraying theres the leak. also try adjusting your air screw under the seat first

u most likely have an air leak check ur reeds for warps or cracks...the air screw is the one on the same side as the choke but towards the airbox it goes in at an angle cant miss it

on your keihen carb the airscrew is the little brass screw w/ the slotted head on the side of the carb. The black plastic screw is the idle screw
