I bought a non-running blaster to fix and sell and noticed there is a sticker on the axle that says DURA BLUE. Does anybody know the length of a stock axle or how to tell if it's really a Dura Blue axle?

Just got my cylinder bored and honed. Cylinder base gasket has a sealer strip on it and manual says strip faces down (on cases) but the copper head gasket has the surface point that faces forward but no up marking. How can I tell which way is UP.

I have a chance to pick up a 93 blaster for $300.00. Owners swears it was running good and all of a sudden quit running and won't start. He checked compression and it is very low. Besides pistons rings any ideas what else could be wrong and causing low compression.

Finished rebuilding the carb off of a stock 1994 blaster. Floats are adjusted and pilot air screw is 1 1/2 turns out. Runs decent the way it is but is there anything I can do to fine tune the carb to make the blaster run better?

My carb is leaking gas out of the overflow tube when the engine is not running. I took the carb apart cleaned everything and adjusted the floats but it still leaks. Been awhile since I rebuilt one of these carbs but I seem to remember the needle valve having a rubber coating on the end that fits...
