Im looking for some reasonable places to buy cheap atv tires. Someone mentioned a site that had knobby tires for dirt cheap... I need some 22" tires. I plan on running in some heavy terrain and snow and the 18" dont have the clearance.

Bad crank seals are common with the old Yz400 I rebuilt my yz400 twice with new crank, rod , bearings and seals and within a few rides it got very hard to start again. leak down test showed it leakin into the crank case again.

most of the lucas products are snake oil... in other words its marketed to sound amazing but its old technology thats found in dozens of other less known products. Nothing special. there oil conditioners and additives etc are just synthetic additives and stocks added to regular petro oil

If your not using copper spray or Threebond your going to end up with leaks... Reed gaskets always use threebond 1211 even some paper base gaskets. head gaskets and fiber gaskets always get a couple coats of copper spray

That sounds like the small end rod bearing to me, or serious piston slap, but piston slap is usually not that bad at idle.... thats not pinging from too much compression

back your idle screw out.... not the mixture screw, or adjust the free play in the cable its not an air leak otherwise the idle would hang for a while then drop down. its not to rich because its not mis firing, its not to lean because its not hanging. I would do the stock pilot and 290...
