Injector Block-off (clean) for $3

If the pump is removed the hole must be blocked.

Removing the plastic gear is all you need to do, it stops the pump turning.

When you take the pump out there is a hole which the shaft goes through into the transmission. That hole must be blocked with a plate, bowl of a spoon or something or oil will pass out.

I am a cheapskate, I just take the gear off the pump, there is no market for a used oil pump, they never seem to capture the market.

I put a nipple on carb threw pump in the spare parts box and plugged the holes in case with button head pins. Its not leaking any trans oil and has 650 ml.

It passed the leak test well

What is the hole blaster is talking about ?

What are these "button head pins" you speak of? Not sure which Blaster reply you're referring to.

There's an unneeded clutch cover vent that gets blocked off on the Banshee. Why Yamaha thought they needed 2 vents, is a mystery. The RZ350 had an autolube pump there, and there weren't 2 vents on it. It's like they said, "What should we do with this hole where the autolube pump was? I know, let's put a 2nd vent there".
