Youtube Video Monetization

I know what this is about, but what is the catch? I have the option to sign up for Google Adsense, but I'm wondering if it's just a ploy to get my info and sell it to other companies.

Anyone else do this? How much money can you make? I figure it's probably a fraction for each Ad that ppl click, but I dunno.

most of my videos are monitized you can make a little bit of money with it. but unless you are getting thousands of views a day it won't be vey much..... still worth it though, its free money lol
