Have EVERYTHING ready to go, maybe even a "dry" run, as the stuff sets fairly quickly. Get what is called a plumbers "acid" or flux brush from the hardware to spread it. Stuff is pretty "stringy" working with it. Nice even layer, not to thick as 99% of it squeezes out.
ONLY thing I have found that will disolve it is gun scrubber. Cabela's: Birchwood Casey Safe Gun Scrubber®

Don't know if the hylomar I used was from UK, but was way stupid expensive. 1/4 size of 3bond, 1/2 the price. Good stuff tho I:I
