winter jetting question

currently 340 main stock carb... would a 350 or 360 main suffice for winter riding?

i live in hudson valley and this winter is being extremely brutal right now with all the snow..... i dont think im running rich but thanks, good to know i most likely have the jets i need

my blaster likes throse high jets too, but ya in winter i bump up 2 or so sizes, seems like my jetting is a little more tempermental in the winter time, maybe it's just me being causious who knows

both of you have airleaks if you need a 340 main with an fmf pipe,

i'm runnin a 30mm, mild port, toomey, boyesen reeds, clamp on filter, it had these habits before i rebuilt it, got especially noticable when i went to a clamp on filter, seems like jetting is very touchy now with the clamp on, not sure if thats common or not

my fmf blasters ran 280s in summer and 300s in winter.. hell my lt250r had a 270 in it for winter.. and my let is almost double the hp of most blasters

carbs with clamp-ons are far more stable with like a 6 inch velocity tube
98worked has no mods listed that would require even close to a 340

might have to give the velocity stack a try, or better yet go back to a air box like i had in the first place, i had a pb setup and not sure why i ever switched to a clamp on, unfortunately i sold the pb and now i've just kinda been running the clamp on, i'd like to know what altitude "hudson valley" is at or were it even is, thats were 98worked says he's at
