te weird thing is that ron has had almost the exact same thing happening to him and i even had some nasty noise happening while it was running
 
i would get a new gasket and do a comp check, 190 is really high no wonder it blew the gasket
 
Since its apart, I'd do it right and rebuild it. I believe in doing it once and doing it right.
 
yeah, good point 245, but for me it would depend on the compression and condition of the cylinder walls if its all good i would run it, as long as its not knocking or anything

Yeah, thats what I meant. Check the cylinder for wear and make sure its round. If it is, I'd at least hone the cylinder and throw a set of rings in it, since its a part.
