wanting to sand drag my blasty. do i need to bypass the injection?

Others opinion may differ from mine.

I would choose to keep the oil injection unless you choose to run a different oil at a ratio that is unsuitable for injection.

With pre mix, and high revs, WOT leaves very little time for the oil to come out of suspension, so I would be using a heavier oil mix

I too would be choosing an oil with a very strong film strength if I was to pre mix.

There are some guys on here who specialise in drags that have more experience than me, they may put you right.

Most delete it completely to save weight. Personally i premix castor 927 with methanol at 20:1. Can't be scared to lubricate these cylinders.

Is your blaster mostly stock? If so i would keep the injection.....then if it fails you can upgrade to bigger and better performance:)

I would keep it until you upgrade your carb. I know a guy that runs stock stroke stock cylinder with home port job that runs 6.20-6.60s in 300ft.
