Hey so I order the motion pro tors elimator kit and been reading some of fourms on here about having to the drill and tap the carb adjustment screw but reason as too why just curious could I get one same thread as stocks and spring or is there clearnce issue or something
Thanks ahead

The stock carb is not drilled to fit an adjustment screw, the adjustment is controlled by the TORS unit.

If you remove the TORS the only way to set the idle is by adjusting the throttle cable.

This can be done but problems arise with high revving when the handlebars are fully turned.

It is not rocket science to drill and tap the carb , but it is very important that you fully clean away all the swarf produced by drilling and tapping.

Take your time tapping it. When you grind the area flat for nut/spring make sure to take little extra (1/8). Use only supplied tap drill. Use lube. Turn tap in heavy 3/4 turn, back out heavy 1/2 turn to remove chips.

Right on thanks so gotta get the tap and screw motion pro kit didn't come with it anyways thanks again havnt take the tors or carb off yet probaly could have answred own question if did

It may be a little scary doing it for the first time but you take your time and don't rush it, it should turn out fine.
