Tors bypassed

I am already considering the delete here very soon, but what have I been missing by just tying the black to black and yellow to yellow.
It runs GOOD **but is it in some kind of limp mode?** When hooked up it doesn't pull out. Thank you in advance.

that is not how to delete the tors.
black to yellow/black stripe wire on 03-06 models only
88-02 models just unplug the 3 wire tors brain, black box under the hood beside the 5 wire CDI box

Easiest way I found for me at least was to just remove all of the unnecessary wiring. I used this diagram.
