ok, so im waiting for my cylinder to be bore/hone and was planing on buying a wiseco piston. well i was wondering if the piston will need any preparation work like honing before i go and put it all back together. i know that the cylinder needs the criss-cross hone but does the piston need it also...

Pistons dont need honed.

so, i would be all set then... just put in the new piston??

Make sure the cylinder bore and the piston size are the same,get the cylinder honed and throw it together and break her in.

No problem,get it done and let us know how it works,there is a honing tool you put on a drillfor like 25 bucks i think? And a couple people on here used it with no problems.
