They can be started an run without a pipe.

I would not advise it for anything other than purging water.

bought used ?
is it missing the extra larger adjuster ? and your throttle cable end is too small for the size hole/threads in the thottle box ?
i bought one used and thats what it was, had to order one from terry cable, the mfg of that moose rebranded throttle

managaed to get more done to day just need to buy
a grab bar
front bead lock wheels
ct exhaust
tyres then im pretty much done does any one habve any of the bits for sale
