The welds look pretty good welds to me, who was giving you crap?

Strong guards i see. Did you weld a nut into the bottom of the pipe where the bolts go in?

If my comment about your welds was offensive, my apologies! My comment was regarding the mods to the swing arm. Like I mentioned I am a weld instructor and I give constructive criticism that is to be taken as advise. I was not bashing you, I've seen more welds then I care to count.

Unfortunatly poor welding can weaken parent metal.

managed to get more of the quad done today added some 22mm tube in the back of the quad to make it stronger and caped it off looks nice

I really like the yellow and red mix. Really looks nice.

I would suggest removing the nerfs until you get the engine in. They will get in the way when you try to reach it in there
