re-charging the shock

just picked another toy, an 03 rm 250 that runs for 500 bucks. needed impeller seal brake lines and the shocks need to be recharged, they are a bit saggy. do i need to take it to anybody or can i do it myself and if i take it so someone how much will it cost, i have never done this before...... thanks for the help

The shock probably needs to be rebuilt. if it's rebuild able . You can rebuild it yourself if you have a little skill working on stuff. You will have to check around local to see who does nitrogen charging.

rebuilding a shock is actually quite fun. You will need a new seal kit for it and also somewhere to take it for gassing.

Most any dealer can charge the nitrogen
