I just wanted to pass this by again. The 36MM mikuni carb is too big for my blaster engine with just pipe intake,vf3 port/polish and head redesign?

could you possiblely explain to us what you are specifically trying to accomplish by running a 36mm carb?
Not neccisarily, if your building a top end screamer with major porting a 36 is not out of line. Although you are going to spend a lot of money building a motor that needs a 36.
I have fmf fatty pipe vf3 reeds, open air box with k&n. I plan on having the head redesigned and port polish work done. I know the stock carb will barely handle those mods so I guess im just looking for the right carb to use. I have the 36MM hangin around from a 250r.
i had a 36mm mikuni on mine with just boyessen reeds, and then a fatty pipe running a 36mm, had a hard time getting it to idle very well, but it ran like a raped ape in the very top of the mid, but made for about a 1500 rpm powerband...not too fun to ride
