Possible advantage of cold or hotter plug

can someone explain to me the advantages of possibly running a colder or hotter plug and reason for running a different plug.

Absolutley no advantage of changing from a B8ES, unless you are heavily modded and/or running specialised fuel.

The heat range of a plug controls the amount of heat that is transferred to the head, a colder plug transfers more heat so therefore is prone to fouling.

A hotter plus on the other hand retains more heat and can burn itself up, and can cause detonation/pre-ignition.

Stick with the B8ES.

I agree completely especially with the dangers of a hotter plug. that can cause all kinds of damage.
