Polaris scrambler 400

OK so we were out riding and my wife was ripping thru some mud on her scrambler 400. was out there bout 2hrs then there was a pop out the tailpipe (not really a backfire) and it died. wont start just cranks.
I have not had time to look at it. I have allot of projects in line, I am just looking for some insight before I tackle it. I am not so familiar with Polaris. The seem to bee the Canadian of the ATV world. EH!

Any ideas?

It could be a number of things. You just have to do the basic tests to see what you are dealing with.

Did she come to a sudden halt when she hit some mud, could a flywheel have spun,....?

i got rid of my polaris 400 after having to contantly work on it.There junk if you ask me,
