it doesnt need mutch u need to drill the bottm holes of the shock out so the bottom pin can fit then get a diff sleve or drill it out to fit the top bolt in its not that hard to put in
 
The bearing wasn't in very tight. I just took a piece of wood and it came out without much effort at all. The install is easy if you can use things like a drill and a measuring tape, not much involved to me.
 
very nice installation and photos con8quest6. I just bought my shock monday off ebay hopefully I'll get it for the weekend. some say you have to trim the airbox, is that true?
 
Will drilling out the bottom of the shock weaken it much??Or would it be better to use a bolt that fits the botoom hole of the shock with spacers?
 
do you guys have any good pics of the air box being trimmed jw i dont think you need to take much off right and what did you use to trim it?
