one problem after another....

So I had a thread before talking about how I was trying to fix a sheared key on the top timing chain gear and cam shaft of my kawasaki bayou, but now, I rednecked that up real nice and she works perfect, then while I was setting the timing to put everything back together, the chain came off the sprocket in the bottom end...... is there any way at all to get it back on without splitting the case???? suggestions please!!

happened to bebefore.remove cam nd get long thin magnet

I have use a length of wire with a hook bent on the end, to fish out a timing chain.

You may be lucky enough to catch it, if it has not folded.
