Hello All,

Just wanted to introduce my self
My name is John Schmeltz
I have a 1988 Blaster that I have had for about 16 years
It has been sitting not running for about 3 years
I have been riding my raptor for the last 4 years

Not sure what is wrong with the Blaster but my daughter wants to start riding it
So I guess its time to fix it

Pulled the carb off today and have a rebuild kit on its way
Then we will work on the no spark issue

welcome to the forum... might not be a bad idea to do a leakdown test. when those gaskets sit for so long without any fuel and oil hitting them they tend to dry out

I have read the leakdown test and will perform one asap

It just stopping running in pismo about three t-years ago and since I had another bike
I just put it in the shed

Hopefully it is a easy fix
