ya nylon would work too, but the brass is softer than the alloy so that will wear instead of the alloy, to be honest, i never thought of nylon

yessir, i can see the brass working really good though. i just had the nylon on hand, so i used that.

well as a ride update, my swinger held up great under some a arm snapping and shock bending terrain this last sat (literally!) no problems at the back and it felt very good, hardly even noticed I had back wheels (if that makes sense) will have to see how it does long term tho because my ride was cut short by busted front suspension!

Looks like that yfz suspension didnt last so long.Thats never a good site looking down and seeing busted a-arms. Nice job on the swingarm.

got new front end parts turns out that arm had been cut and welded, and it snapped at that spot. swinger holding out well

Hey thanks guys! well i dont mind putting up the CAD file or something, il look into finding a site where I can host it or something. Also, il have to check with the original designer of the file. I cant take credit for that.

Did this ever happen? I wouldn't mind getting the file.
