i had it running but the last time after spraying the carb for cleaner it rode for ten mins but once i started to get to bout 35 after a straight run i went to turn aroud as i was slowing down it shut off i got it home wouldnt start got new spark plug i kno the carbs getting gas cuz its dripping from the back over flow and if i turn the gas off in turn it up 12 oclock it comes out the side overflow so what can be the problem it will only back fire after trying to start any help would be great full dont wanna pay shop prices for something i feel as tho i can do my self

Also I have a complete blaster minus the carb and throttle and back brake that I'm trying to part out

sounds like a float height or float valve problem, if it keeps coming out the overflows.
and you may have the bottom end flooded. it will not start if fuel/air can't flow thru the bottom end and up to the cylinder.

here's float info:

to clear the bottom end of raw fuel, remove plug and pipe, drain fuel from carb with drain screw, with gas off at petcock, hold throttle wide open and kick it until your leg hurts :(
you should see raw gas coming out the exhaust.
re-assemble, put new plug in, and try to start it, but get that overflow/float problem fixed first.

Since you seem new to this,
First make sure your carb is clean
http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/carb-cleaning-how-to-video.39556/
Find out you main jet size while you are in there and let us know, then list all mods.
Next set your float height.
http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/float-heights-and-how-to-adjust-them.50565/
Then set your air/fuel screw
http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/adjusting-your-airscrew-pilot-jet.51060/

Let us know on jetting and mods too.
Also search air leaks and leak testing.

Edit: Dangit He beat me to it^^^ some what.....

The time befor the last when I got it to start I came home and the exhaust was flooded like half way I took it off change new gas and took the carb off and cleaned it wat was that about after I did tht I put it all back together it ran for 30 mins

just cleaning the carb isn't helping your flooding problem, chances are the exhaust and bottom end are full with raw fuel again, you need to correct that first with the float links above, or keep chasing your tail :(

K tomorro when i wake up I'm goin out to it so to fix tht I need to take the carb and throttle off ? I tryed start it when the exhaust was off and it back fired a fire ball and what's the piece between the carb and top end one more question type of oil for crank case is any 10w40 good

what's the piece between the carb and top end

between the carb and cylinder is the rubber intake and then the reed cage
while you have the carb off, look into the rubber intake with a flashlight to see if all 4 reed petals are there and not cracked/broken

and yes, pull the carb, remove float bowl, check/set float height according to the link above.

And while I have the carb off what am I looking for just pane damage? Carb wise just tryin see I wake up early in if possible would like to ride this thing on my day off

yes, all 4 petals should be in good shape, closing completely, and not cracked, broken, missing, ect.

No not any 10w40!!!! Automotive oil is bad news! Also soundle like you may not have understood. When you take the carb off you need to check jets and let us know what size and correct your float hieght so you stop flooding. NEVER try n start bike with exhaust off and plug connected! TAKE PLUG OUT AND CLEAR THE BOTTOM END OF RAW FUEL not burn it. Most likley its not jetted to correct size either if it came with no carb n u just threw one on and also most likly you have an air leak somewhere.

Automotive engine oil is ok for the transmission providing it has a lesser than SG rating.

It must not contain any friction modifiers as the clutch will slip.

10w30 is a good choice, or ATF type F!

I have not got to takevitboff been working first thing in the am I will this oil things got me iffy right now hi got Quaker 10w40 650ml like it says should I drain tht out in specific what kind should I use I keep seeing Yama lube but I can't find any at any the stores I went to

Ohk I'll be sure to get tht out there in the morning also so a motorcycle 10w30 ?

Another thing the guy I got it from drillerd holes in top the air box right under the seat could tht be causing a compression problem making me get to much air
