im thinking of porting.... but i dont have the money for a +3 crank right now and i dont wanna have to get it re-ported for the +3.... so im thinking about maybe intake.... any ideas on something in like the 150-200 range

have your head cut. and get an adjustable timing plate. after you get your head back, adjust the timing some and rejet it and you will have more power.

you might have to have your head recut for the stroker, but it is only like 50ish to have your head cut.

if i mill my head will i have to run higher octane....

you can get your head cut for race gas(high octane) or pump gas. Just tell them what octane you plan on running

dont mill the head, have the head cut. cutting the head they reshape it for a better squash and squash band. some have said on stock motors, having the head cut is about the same as porting.
when you have it cut, you will need to let them know what piston you are running (might have to ship it to them) and what octane you want to run.
