66mm bore, FMF gold fatty, mild port cleanup and case match. fiber reeds, K&N with 4 - 1" holes cut in air box lid. Ohio (700' alt) 92oct pump gas.

Going to order 270, 280, 290 Anyone running the same setup? What your jet size? I've got DMC pipes on my Basnsee and 310 mains and never fouled a plug in 6 years.

uve got enough mods i would say 290 at first then if it bogs at high speeds back it down to 280 and if that still bogs then go 270 but id bet 290 or 280 would do ya

Banshee (5N7) needle. What sucks is they sell it as a "kit" with the clip, screws, and cable connector for the slide, it will run you about $30-35. The stock needle is too lean in midrange, at least out here, blasters seize all the time. I'm running stock pipe (plan on replacing it) open airbox, 67.5mm piston. 310 main, banshee needle on #4. Bike runs great, throttle chop has it a bit on the rich side, plugs are cheaper than pistons. We're at sea level and usually riding in around 80-100 degree weather, but it's a dry heat. :)

Oh, yamaha part number for the needle is 2GU-1490J-00. I think you're going to be over 300 at that altitude with those mods.
