Idle problem

blasters idle doesnt seem right, when i warm it up from a cold day, it idles perfectly and smooth.. then after about 15 min or so of riding once its fully warmed up, when i get stuck in the snow or something i put it in neutral, and it idles pretty high!! and even when in gear and pulling in the clutch it idles high again.. whats the problem??

most likely an air leak.

I would start with a leak down test

damn, and now i just came back inside, fired up the blaster, rolled it in gear outside to warm up, and then it died on me, and now it wont fire back up!! got a new spark plug for it today, wont start, got gas, wont start, oil is good, wont start

it MIGHT be some water in the wires but i highly doubt it, and i had it runnin 2 hrs ago and ran great, so i dont think it should be the tors, just wont start now

give it till tommorow. If it doesn't run after tommorow then take the carb and anything electric out of the picture

well once its warm it idles high, then go in gear and goes along, pull in the clutch and the idle stays high.. so its an air leak?

do a leak down test. if all comes back a-ok get rid of that damn tors and all that it inhibits

im gonna un plug the tors and see if she works, and check for spark

you have to do more than just unplug the tors. have you read the tors delete diy. there are wires that need taken care of. im pretty sure it wont start or run with the tors unplugged

actually if you unplug it at the carb and at the "brain" box under the hood it is just like deleting it. did it to my 98 and works beautifly
